What is Venturer Scouts?
Venturer Scouts is designed to offer young people a platform to develop their skills, pursue their interests, and make a positive impact on their community. The program is flexible, allowing Venturers to choose activities that interest them, while also focusing on leadership, teamwork, and service.

Parent Involvement
While Venturers are encouraged to take more responsibility for their activities, parents can still play a supportive role. Your involvement can include helping with logistics, supporting special events, or providing expertise in specific areas.

Venturer Scouts can earn a variety of badges and awards that recognize their achievements and skill development.
Queen’s Scout Award
The highest award in Venturer Scouts, recognizing outstanding achievements.
Leadership and Community Service Awards
For contributions to the community and leadership within the group.
Adventurous Activity Badges
For skills in specific adventure activities.
Queen's Scout Award
Venturer Scout's participate in activities that are adventurous, fun, challenging and inclusive each activity usually done by the whole Unit together or in smaller groups known as a Project Patrol.
Venturer Scout Uniform
The uniform is designed to be light and comfortable to wear, looking formal but not unfriendly, and wearable in many situations. The uniform also offers us the opportunity to display badges celebrating our achievements or recognising our identity. Not all of our achievements may result in a badge. However, in Scouting, we choose to recognise many achievements with badges and woggles that can be worn as part of the uniform.
All youth members are required to wear their respective uniforms to uniformed events – which will vary between Scout Groups and Units. Youth Helpers who are not a member of a Scouting or Guiding section wear the adult navy-blue uniform shirt with the World Scout Emblem badge, Australian flag badge and Youth Helper badge.
