1st Winston Hills Scout Group Hall Hire!
Our hall is available for hire during weekdays until 6pm, and on weekends from 1pm until 11pm. We welcome kids' parties, family gatherings, club meetings, and more. Both regular and one-off bookings are available.
The proceeds from hall hire help maintain our Scouting facilities and equipment for our young Scouts.
Suitable Groups
We welcome groups whose activities align with our principles and benefit the community, such as Weight Watchers, Senior Citizens, dance classes, music classes, the Country Women’s Association, youth groups, junior sporting clubs, and Rotaract.
Note
We do not hire for birthdays over age 10, especially 18th and 21st parties.
Insurance
Private hirers (e.g., child’s birthday parties) do not need public risk insurance. Councils, businesses, clubs, and community organizations must have $10 million public liability insurance and provide a certificate of currency.

Note
The BBQ area next to the hall is booked separately through Parramatta Council.
Rates
$35/hour with a $140 minimum.
Setup/cleanup time is included in the hire time and charged at the hourly rate.
Responsibilities of the Hirer
At the end of the hire period, please ensure:
- Floors are swept and sticky spills are mopped.
- Kitchen surfaces and trestle tables are wiped down.
- All lights, especially in toilets, are switched off.
- Air conditioning is turned off (additional charges apply if left on).
- Toilets are flushed and rolls replaced if needed.
- Tables and chairs are stacked in the storeroom as found.
- All rubbish is taken away.
Scout halls are maintained by volunteers. If you notice something that needs attention, please fix it or inform us.
